Red Cedar Development connections

Rain runoff from the Red Cedar Development into the Montgomery Drain contains many pollutants as it empties into the storm sewer system. Construction continues that will connect this runoff into a system that can clean these pollutants before they are dumped into the Red Cedar. Electrical an d pump systems are being put in place to circulate and recirculate this water, using a natural cleaning method to eliminate the pollutants. This proven method will allow the return of the Red Cedar River to support aquatic habitat.
