Traffic detours due to drain construction

Expect delays along Saginaw and Grand River in the Frandor area, especially on Clippert Avenue, due to construction for the Montgomery Drain. Work is finishing on the pump station which will pump polluted stormwater runoff through a series of natural cleaning methods before being dumped into the Red Cedar River. Upcoming work will begin shortly on Michigan Avenue which may cause further delays in traffic patterns. Public officials have begun touring the project site to review the progress of construction.
