For the first time in decades…

For the first time in decades water leaving the Montgomery Drain is entering into the river not as a dirty water plume, but instead as a clean water plume.

Traffic congestion and road closures are going to become more a part of daily life around the drain district as several new construction efforts start.  We anticipate this to go through the summer and will affect all parts of the district, for now plan on avoiding Clippert Ave. from Grand River Ave. to Saginaw Hwy.  Progress continues on the pump station work, focusing now on final equipment installation.  Ongoing connections between work done in different divisions is under way.  With spring arriving and growing season coming on many Soil Erosion efforts are working to stabilize construction sites.  Wetland, recreation and habitat creation is coming!
